Los Angeles is served by one of the largest airports in the United States, LAX. Featuring nine terminals and hundreds of daily flights, tens of thousands of people from around the world arrive into Los Angeles through LAX every day. While LAX is traditionally known as easier to get through than other “mega” airports in the United States like JFK and O’Hare, it isn’t exactly an”cake walk” to navigate, especially in peak times when you need to get a cab to get to your hotel. For those whose destination is the Long Beach/ San Pedro area, Long Beach Airport is typically regarded as the easiest airport to deal with in the area. With a limited number of gates, yet destinations from around the country, many travelers discover LGB and keep coming back to it.
One of the best things about LGB is the fact that you can easily get a cab steps from the baggage claim. Any time you arrive, there is always a supply of yellow cab vehicle to take you where you need to go, whether you are staying local, heading into downtown Los Angeles, or making Orange County your final destination.
