Will the Age of Aquarius Begin or End Something?

The Age of Aquarius is an exciting phenomenon for astrologers. It is the new age in the astrological cycle. Most people say that we are in the Age of Pisces. The Age of Aquarius will begin on December 21, 2012, the last day in the Mayan Long Count calendar.

For people who do not follow astrology, the idea of this Age of Aquarius is very unclear. To make it simpler, each of the 12 astrological signs has an age associated with it. The age of the astrological sign changes depending on which sign appears during the morning of the spring equinox. Each astrological age is approximated to be 2,150 years long on the average. From the current Age of Pisces, many astrologers are saying that the planet is moving into Aquarian age.

Every shift in age is believed to affect mankind. Aquarius governs electricity, flight, democracy, computers, freedom, modernization, humanitarianism, rebels and rebellion, nervous disorders, astrology, and mental diseases. Because these concepts have appeared and elevated in the last few centuries, including nonconformity, philanthropy, veracity, perseverance, irresolution, and mankind, it is believed that the coming of the Age of Aquarius is approaching.

Being associated to December 2012, the Aquarian age is often mentioned as part of the 2012 the end of the world predictions. The 2012 prophecy of the Bible mentions that after catastrophes, the anti-Christ will dominate the world. Experts have differing opinions whether the Apocalypse and the polar shift 2012 are associated also with this. At the same time, the 5125 years of the Mayan Long calendar has been closely linked with the 21st of December 2012 end of the world. According to the researchers of the Mayan culture, the end of the Mayan calender is relevant. The end of the calendar takes place at the end of the 13th baktun; thirteen was a spiritual number in Mayan culture; and December 21, 2012 is the definite date that a uncommon galactic alignment will take place in the entire Milky Way. Alignment of planets is a rare phenomenon as is takes only once in about 25,000 years. Many scholars suggest that these occurrences are not simply matters of coincidence.

Meanwhile, believers that the Aquarian Age is a New Age say that the coming of this age will correspond to a worldwide swing in consciousness. An apocalyptic theory of the 1950s supports this thought.

A lot of debates about the Aquarian Age has not been resolved until now. It is armageddon on 2012 for some while others said it is the beginning of advanced consciousness. For Christians, they pronounce Christ will return.
