    EPA proposes using Clean Air Act to fight global warming

    Tuesday, March 24, 2009 Washington, D.C. - The Environmental Protection Agency may have a new tool in its arsenal to fight global warming. The agency has submitted a proposal to the Obama administration which aims to list carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gasses as pollutants under the Clean Air Act.     Immigration raid at Ohio poultry plant

    Thursday, August 30, 2007 Roughly 160 Illegal immigrants were arrested when federal authorities raided a chicken plant in Fairfield, Ohio.     Thursday, May 7, 2009 Penske Automotive Group, Inc., an Ohio-based investment group and Telesto Ventures have indicated separately that they are interested in purchasing the Saturn auto brand from General Motors (GM).     Oil price falls on inventory report

    Thursday, September 8, 2005 Crude oil prices fell by $0.32, to $63.95 a barrel, after a report showed lower than expected losses in oil supplies due to Hurricane Katrina. According to a report published by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), crude oil stocks declined by 6.5 million, to 315 million barrels. The department also announced that 57% of the production capacity in the Gulf of Mexico is still down, versus 97% the day after the storm.     Gunman commits suicide at University of Texas

    Tuesday, September 28, 2010 A man wearing a ski mask and carrying an assault rifle apparently killed himself in the library of the University of Texas in Austin, Texas earlier today. The university was placed under lockdown and all classes were canceled as a result of the incident. Nobody else was hurt, but police are still looking for a possible second gunman.
