    Google removes German BMW from search results

    Monday, February 6, 2006 The search engine Google announced the removal of the official German BMW web site from its search results today. Google is reported to have removed the website due to the use of a trick to raise its website ratings in the search engine's results. The online version of Forbes magazine reported that the German word for used car, Gebrauchtwagen, appeared 42 times in a doorway web page created by the German car manufacturer.     White House accepts judicial review of NSA eavesdropping

    Thursday, July 13, 2006 The US President George W. Bush agreed to sign a bill that would allow for a limited judicial review of the National Security Agency's controversial eavesdropping program, said the Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Arlen Specter (R).     Investigation into US Airways river ditching in New York completed

    Tuesday, May 4, 2010 The United States National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has completed its investigation into the ditching of US Airways Flight 1549 into New York's Hudson River.
