Monday, February 25, 2019 On Friday, a federal judge in Texas ruled the United States federal government's practice of registering men but not women for the draft, or military conscription, is unconstitutional. In response to a lawsuit by the men's rights group National Coalition for Men, U.S. District Judge Gray Miller ruled the male-only draft violated the Due Process Clause of the United States Constitution. Dublin's Occupy Dame Street was cleared by police while the local council cleared the abandoned Occupy Waterford site. Sunday, July 1, 2007 A young woman was killed Friday night after an accident occurred on a gyrating ride at the Playland amusement park in Rye, New York in the United States. The woman, Gabriela Garin, was a worker at the amusement park, and had worked there for the past seven years.
