The Nelson Mandela Foundation released a statement which said that thirteen-year-old Zenani Mandela, who celebrated her birthday on June 9, died in a single vehicle accident and that no one else was injured. The strike is estimated to affect 100,000 people in the capital area, crowding the remaining transit system on Monday morning.
